The Buildings Committee is a new Committee in 2019. It meets as and when it needs to but will meet more frequently when the Parish Council completes the takeover of the Bishopstoke Memorial Hall. In addition to the Hall, the Committee has responsibility for the other buildings either owned or managed by the Parish Council. Finally, the Committee oversees the Armistice Day arrangements as the Parish Council joins with the local community in honouring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
The Committee is appointed at the AGM in May and sits for the following 12 months.
The Committee members, with their attendance at meetings since the AGM, are currently: Cllrs Winstanley (Chair) (4 of 5 meetings), Dean (Vice Chair) (5), Greenwood (3), Harris (4) and Toher (5).
Due to the coronavirus and following government advice future meetings of the Buildings Committee have been cancelled until further notice.
